The ceremony was held on October 2, 2003, and President Chen Shui-Bian of Taiwan personally attended the ceremony to present the award. The National Outstanding SMEs Award is granted to small and medium businesses for their outstanding successes, financial achievements,and continual contributory efforts to society.
