LaserPro Introduces a New Grayscale Image Engraving Function
Walnut, CA, Oct. 2004 – LaserPro, world-renowned manufacturer of laser engraving and marking systems, has added a new function for its LaserPro Explorer and Mercury laser engravers – the “45-Degree Dithering Pattern”. With up to 200-shade grayscale image processing capability, LaserPro is able to well present the vividness of image. LaserPro has long provided the industries with a complete set of solutions of grayscale image engraving such as the error diffusion, matrix options and a variety of dithering patterns, which are comprised of a unique geometric arrangement of pixels to create a vast range of contrasts and effects on the image output.
The newest “45-Degree Dithering Pattern” function, which can be enabled from the driver properties, helps when engraving on coated materials and gains excellent contrast on a lacquered surface. Moreover, the new dithering pattern style with four dithering matrixes is perfect for users to process on various materials, including wood, acrylic, 2-ply laminate, textile and more.
